Charity Auctions to benefit the American Cancer Society
In late 2008 the games community lost Erick Dyke, president and co-founder of n-Space, to cancer.  The PlayStation Museum responded by auctioning off rare development items to benefit Michigan Technological University in Erick's name.  Last year I lost my father to cancer. Through the efforts of David Jaffe, SingleTrac, and former VP's from SCEA, the PlayStation Museum was able to raise over $1,200 with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.

With the support of Jason Rubin, Andy Gavin, Ted Price, Alex Hastings, Brian Hastings, as well as individuals from Capcom and Sony, the PlayStation Museum is holding 4 separate auctions to benefit the American Cancer Society.  Items include framed and signed copies of the Crash Bandicoot series of games, framed and signed copy of Spyro the Dragon, Maximo Ghosts To Glory team jacket, and Jet Moto 2 team jacket.  CLICK HERE to check out the auctions.

The PlayStation Museum web-resource now online!
I am happy to announce the re-launching of the PlayStation Museum web-resource.  To begin with, every US released PlayStation game has a rating with accurate product box description and information.  In addition to a new colorful layout and easy to use navigational interface, the improved PlayStation Museum site will focus more on the history of PlayStation game development.  One way to achieve this is through the PlayStation Museum's Art Of The Game.  Art Of The Game are picture galleries, hosted by Flickr, containing development and concept artwork from your favorite PlayStation games.  Another new feature is the Developer Insights.  It will now be easier to identify which games contain historical in-depth developer information when browsing through PlayStation game titles.

The Hardware and History sections have been updated but remain work in progress.
