Description:
This all-action arcade-style
game combines ‘blast ’em up’ excitement with puzzle-solving
elements against a unique background. Based graphically on
the designs of artist Rodney Matthews, Shadow Master takes place
within seven distinctive worlds. Your mission is to
protect your planet from the dictatorship that is stripping the
resources of all the planets in your system. Slowly you discover
how the dictator has perverted all forms of life on the planets,
turning them into mechanical monsters.
Believing attack to be the best
form of defense, you are confronting the enemy in his own domain
– on the planets he has already taken over. As well as
offering very different terrains and environments, each world
presents different challenges in terms of the opponents you must
defeat. And as you graduate through the worlds, these opponents
become more gruesome. You must battle your way past spiders,
tryphids, dragons… then confront and destroy the ‘evil one’ to
save the universe.
