Description:
DEAD UNITY was a 3D action adventure game by Aramat Productions.
In this game, the player finds himself in an alternate world of
science fiction. You take control of the artificially enhanced
human, Works.
Help Works to power down the massive computer core of the global
mediation machine. At every corner, Works battles 9-foot tall
metal giants, the "Fleshies," and the seemingly unbeatable
computer core itself. Choose from over 100 weapons and
enhancements interchangeable with Works' A.R.M. (Automatic
Reconfigurable Munitions).
DEAD UNITY features over 30 different enemy characters, over
400 3D rendered scenes, over 100 weapons and enhancements for
the arm (called Automatic Reconfigurable Munitions, and if that
ain't a stretch for the ARM acronym, I dunno what is), --and
presumably none of the horrendous voiceovers or goofy text of
Resident Evil and RE2, since it's being developed in
the U.S. and all. The environments are dynamic: breaking
windows, bullet holes in walls, and visible changes as day turns
to night. Also, the game will have different endings depending
on the paths taken by the player.
The game was similar to RESIDENT EVIL, the characters and other
objects will be rendered in polygons real time, while the
background consists of pre-rendered images.
