Description:
In Creature Shock, monsters are intent on destroying the planet.
You must stop them by blasting the creatures out of the sky
using your spaceship. When a more personal touch is required,
exit the ship and blast the enemies from a first-person
perspective. Either way, the full screen 3D graphics and
ray-traced animation establish a sinister mood that is enhanced
by the music and the sound effects. In addition to the brilliant
gameplay graphics, there are a number of full motion video clips
that also advance the story. Save the Earth from alien monsters
in Creature Shock.
It is not known why Data East did not release this game in the
states. According to a programmer who worked on this title, it
was made only for the Japanese region. What is odd is that
PSExtreme magazine previewed a version in April 1996.
Good news for fans of the shooter genre. The Japanese version of
Creature Shock: Special Edition is fully English with Japanese
subtitles.
