Description:
Not much is known about this prototype game. Bubble Bobble has
proven to be a popular game, and that makes Bubble Bobble 2 an
instant hit and highly sought after game. Although it was never
released on the PlayStation, gamers could find enjoyment playing
it on the Sega Saturn. However, when the two version are
compared side-by-side, the PlayStation version is a lot more
colorful.
The four descendants of Bub and Bob must defeat the Hyper Drunk
with their own unique bubble powers.
Bubblun is the baseline dragon. He does everything well. He
fires three bubbles straight ahead when powered up.
Bobblun moves faster than the others, but his range is the
shortest. He shoots three bubbles in a spread pattern when
powered up.
Kululun has the longest range, but is the slowest of the four.
She shoots her bubbles in a 'T' pattern when powered up, which
makes her the best dragon for jumping up to higher areas.
Cororon has the fastest bubble blowing. She shoots her bubbles
in an inverted-'T' pattern, so she can take out enemies above
her.
Bubble Bobble 2 has hundreds of levels, monsters, and items. It
has lots of different endings and special guest stars from other
Taito games. The graphics are excellent, and its soundtrack is
--IF NOT THE BEST OF ALL TIME-- one of the best soundtracks of
any arcade, computer, or console game. |
