Below is a run-down of the major historical events throughout the lifespan of
the PlayStation. I would like to give credit to and thank
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and
Sony Computer Entertainment America who gathered a vast majority of these
events and summarized them. Most of the following is unabridged, however
the museum did remove most PlayStation 2 references and added hyperlinks as well as a
few other tidbits.
